Coming to a Barnes & Noble near you

Got some great news today…

Most Barnes & Nobles stores are going to be carrying WAIW. This is really cool on so many levels. Now whenever someone asks me, “Where can I buy your book?” I don’t have to say “I dunno.”

It’ll be great sending them some place other than a website. While shopping online is convenient, it’s not nearly as much of an experience as strolling through a bookstore’s shelves.

I predict that the first time, if not every time, I find my book on the shelf in a store, I’ll be majorly geeking out.

It’s a major accomplishment–you deserve to geek out when you see your book in the store!

Chapters/Indigo (The Barnes & Noble of Canada) will be carrying it north of the boarder. I’ll be geeking out when I go to purchase my copy!

You guys are the best commenters a guy could hope for. Thanks.

Matt says:

I’m going to keep going into a Barnes & Noble and continually moving your books to the New Release table if doesn’t make it there itself. Every day. And then I’ll push all the other books from the table on the floor. And then I’ll pee on those books.

I was in a bookstore today looking for a gift for a friend, when happened to see “Where Am I Wearing”. I was so excited to see it, to know that there was someone else out there who felt the same way I do, and doing something about it. I haven’t read the whole thing yet but I just wanted to say how grateful I am that this book was written. Thank you!

Kelsey says:

Matt,

That’s a great marketing strategy. The selling point on my book will be that it hasn’t been urinated on.

Lilli,

Glad you got your hands on a copy. I wasn’t aware that my book was out in stores yet. You must have found an Advanced Copy in a used book store?? That’s a one-of-a-kind edition with 10,000 extra words. Hope you enjoy it.

That’s awesome, Kels! Borders will probably be right in line, just out of sheer jealousy.
